  WELCOME to the Kazoku Karate Dojo Website.

We hope that these pages will encourage you to train with us. At the Kazoku Karate Dojo the style of karate we practice is called Shito-Ryu, a traditional style of Karate founded by the late Okinawan karate master Kenwa Mabuni (circa 1929), run in a friendly family club atmosphere to enhance and encourage the learning process. Please note we DO NOT practice or compete in Sport Karate. We try to promote and preserve the true essence of the art and preserve the Okinawan/Japanese heritage of Karate-Do.

Shito-Ryu Karate-Do is for everyone irrespective of age, colour, size, male or female. We accept students from 8 years of age upwards. If you are sincere and commit to your training, Karate-Do will change your life for the better, and the hardest step is the first one. Remember we were all beginners once, so why not make that important first step with us. We are located in Earley, near Reading in a convenient location with easy parking.
